Sweaty 4 Miler
I’d like to give a shout out to Nicki Minaj, Miranda Lambert, and the Foo Fighters for getting me through this evening’s 4 miles speed workout.
I went into my first speed workout of training with dread but ended up feeling and finishing strong.
After the workout I scarfed down this dinner with a Diet Coke (a bad habit that needs breaking..)
Tonight’s plate was not incredibly photogenic but oh so delicious:
Brown rice noodles
Green Giant frozen veggies- yellow carrot, spinach, and navy beans
All with a healthy drizzle of hot sauce 😉
I am definitely obsessed with Green Giant’s line of frozen veggies/sides. It’s such an easy way to incorporate a healthy dose of veggies into your meal plan.
Other eats of the day include some protein oats and coffee in the AM
This bowl included:
Trader Joe’s quick cook steel cut oats
Homemade apple butter
vanilla protein powder
There was a boiled egg, banana, and peanut butter sandwich on a whole wheat english muffin enjoyed at Starbucks with a small eggnog soy latte while trying to tweak the good ol’ resume.
Bear with the photos in today’s posts – I didn’t have my point and shoot charged. I’m hoping to upgrade to a camera from this decade for the holidays.
Does anybody have any recommendations for some affordable point and shoot cameras?
